    Examination for Young Women

Complete Blood Count (CBC) Thyroid Function Tests (T3, fT4, TSH) Iron (Fe) and Ferritin (Ferr) Calcium (Ca) Anti-Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (anti- TPO) and Anti-Thyroglobulin Antibodies (anti-TG) CA-125 Prolactin (PRL) CA 15-3 Vaginal cultures HBsAg Anti-HIV

For young adult women, we use the basic Check up tests to assess their basic health parameters and metabolism, as shown in the table below:

    Analysis: Examines:
Complete Blood Count (CBC): Evaluates bone marrow, anaemia, and the presence of acute and chronic central inflammations. Detects inflammations and cardiovascular risk.
    Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR):
High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs- CRP): Evaluates short-term inflammations and cardiovascular risk.
Fasting / 2-hour Glucose: Assesses diabetic conditions.
    Urea Evaluates renal function.
    Creatinine
Uric Acid Detects arthritis and nutritional disorders.
    Cholesterol diseases due to

    dyslipidaemia

    HDL
    LDL
    Triglycerides
    Atherogenic Index
    γ-GT Evaluates liver function.
    Alanine Aminotransferase & Aspartate Aminotransferase
Urinalysis Assesses pathology and infections in the kidneys and urinary bladder.

Special attention is given to possible iron deficiencies that afflict many women, mainly due to menstrual blood loss. Additionally, there are examinations conducted for thyroid disorders, which are prevalent among women. Furthermore, we check for infections that can significantly affect a woman's fertility and optionally measure indicators of neoplasms of the reproductive organs.

The additional examinations proposed for preventive screening are:

Iron (Fe) and Ferritin (Ferr), which are chosen in combination to investigate possible iron deficiency. Indications of iron deficiency include fragile hair and nails, fatigue, fainting tendencies, and menstrual cycle instability.

Calcium (Ca), which is one of the essential trace elements of metabolism and is associated with the physiology of various systems of the body, such as the thyroid, kidneys, bones, etc.

T3 (triiodothyronine), fT4 (free thyroxine), TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone), anti- TPO (anti-thyroid peroxidase antibodies), and anti-TG (anti-thyroglobulin antibodies), which constitute a panel of thyroid analyses used to assess both the biochemical performance and regulation of the thyroid, as well as the presence of autoantibodies that may destroy its function. Women generally have increased chances of thyroid disorders, which, in addition to their effects on cardiac function, overall metabolism, and mood, can disrupt hormonal balance.

CA 125 (cancer antigen 125), which is an indicator of neoplasia or inflammation in the ovaries. This analysis detects possible endometriosis, which can lead to infertility.

Prolactine (PRL): This hormone's elevated levels are associated with polycystic ovaries and infertility. It is recommended when there are disruptions in the menstrual cycle or unexpected hair growth in areas such as the abdomen, hands, and face. For suspected cases of polycystic ovary syndrome, there is a specialized check-up available.

CA 15-3:  This is a marker of breast neoplasia. It is recommended by doctors, especially in cases of a family history of breast cancer (mother, sister, 1st aunt).

Vaginal cultures: This analysis detects bacterial infections and parasites responsible for chronic inflammations of the lower genital tract, infertility, and spontaneous abortions in pregnant women. The analyses focus on detecting:

    – Ureaplasma
    – Mycoplasma
    – Chlamydia
    – Trichomonads
    – Fungi

HBsAg (Hepatitis B surface antigen) and anti-HIV antibodies: These detect infections from hepatitis B and HIV, respectively. The examination of these specific analyses ensures timely diagnosis of these diseases and sensitises individuals for subsequent safe sexual expression.

We provide your results with full explanation, assessment, and initial guidance as needed.

As preparation for morning blood sampling and examination, the following is suggested:

Mandatory intake of an evening meal the night before.
    – The last meal should be consumed up to 11-12 hours before blood sampling.
    – The evening meal should contain fewer animal fats (if it includes cheeses, fatty dairy products, and meats).
    - In the morning, only coffee should be consumed, with free water intake.

    For urine collection:

    – Collect the first morning urine.
    – Wash the area thoroughly with plenty of water, without soap.
    – Discard the first urine of the urination and collect a small amount from the midstream in a special urine container.
